Le Vili offers you only traditional shallots : long , half long or round.
I am a bulb manually planted in February and/or March
After a long hibernation, I wake up to give birth to several small bulbs
I am finally ready to be removed
Reaching maturity at the begginig of July, I am manually removed
Before the harvest, I am lying under the sun
Then I am removed in order to be packed
I am packed in paloxs (wooden boxes) which are stocked in a ventilated warehouse
After being calibrated, I am finally ready to be tasted
Onion Production
I am a bulb, a seed or clod, planted at the beginning of the spring.
I can be planted in the ground or on a plastic cover; these differences will work on the precocity, the preservation and the yield of the harvest.After a long hibernation, every bulbs or seeds has grew up
Came of age, I am ripped off and then I can lie under the sun
I am ready to be harvested in the month of August
Then I am preserved in the best conditions to insure my durability. In palox, in fridge or in ventilated bulks.
Finally, you can eat me without moderation
